Whilst I initially thought my first collage to be the best due to its focused composition with its coloured rings blossoming from a clear focal point, I am now less single minded.

Following the painting task, I have noticed other equally - if not more - interesting areas or pieces of imagery within my other collages, namely my second. Whilst I still like my first piece, I realise I limited myself by focusing it around a single piece of imagery when collage should use a combination of varied imagery to produce a more nuanced outcome. I don't necessarily think my other collages achieved this, however they are somewhat more experimental.

Were I to continue experimenting with collage I would aim to use a wider variety of found imagery to create more variation within the piece, however I would also look to utilise similar blocks of colour to those seen in my first collage to create more contrast within the image.
